I wanted to share this picture that my mom took in Barcelona in 2008. Cole Porter rhapsodized about "the purple light of a summer night in Spain" back in the twenties, but he did not prepare me for the golden-coral light of sunrise. Suffice it to say, the sky has never looked like this over my apartment.
