View from a height.

On my way back from Cali, I was able to snag a window seat (Southwest wants you to think they're all great with the open seating, but they still offer early-bird check-in...for a fee...which I paid) so that I could get the pictures I am posting below. Leaving the Bay area:

I'm starting to kind of get a grasp of West Cost geography, so I believe these are the Sierra Nevadas:

Not sure about these, but they're still awesome:

Coming into Las Vegas - I have a sob story about Lake Mead, but I'll spare you now and just say the main reason for the window seat was to get the photos I didn't get last time. However, Lake Mead is pretty green, so I don't know that this is it, but oh well, it's still a pretty lake.

And the piece de resistance - the closest I'll ever get - it's the Grand Canyon!

  1. how awesome are those!

Harry Potter- I ended up seeing it twice. It kinda disappointed me honestly for two reasons: 1- they did not give Remus, Tonks, Fred, Hagrid or anyone else the screen time the deserved in the last film of such an epic series. They didn't show how they died, you just see them dead. That was pretty lame. 2- At the very end when they are putting the kids on the train, NOT one of those kids looks old enough to be the mother or father of a 12 year old, lol. I look older than them! Pet peeve, bad age progressions.

tutorial- very funny, but no, because I'm a lazy ass :)

lime green- yeah, I know... still a lazy ass, but will probably try to fix that this weekend.

kids- it's a new class and they are trying to kill me. I've got boys, boys, boys, and I'm having to get really really creative.
